Sure have. Funny how when I left, I figured, a week across the country, a week back, just mostly me by myself to see what that was like.

Anyway, almost there's not the same as bein' there yet. Still got a whole state in between us an' California, and hours of California before LA. Anything could happen, you know how shit goes for us. That highway up there could drop off into some ocean that turns up a few thousand years later.
